Position Overview:
This role reports directly to the Head of Engineering. The selected candidate will significantly influence the software we develop and the architectural decisions we make as we deliver innovative, data-centric products to our clients. This is a NYC-based hybrid role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other engineers and product managers to optimize customer provider networks.
- Make impactful decisions on the development of high-quality, maintainable software by applying industry best practices.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement within the team.
- Work closely with the data science team to curate detailed and accurate datasets of doctors and their affiliations.
What You’ll Need:
- 2-5 years as a Full Stack Software Engineer.
- Significant experience in Python, Django, and React.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and valuing automated testing and robust testing practices.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field is strongly preferred.
- Comfort with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and engineering practices (e.g., CI/CD, test-driven development, pair programming).
- Ability to approach problems thoughtfully, emphasizing simplicity in solutions and clarity in technical decision-making and trade-offs.
